The largest artificial waterfall surrounds the entire structure. And on the parapets are the names of all the dead people. What New York and its residents had to go through in 2001 is hard to imagine.
Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is the hallmark of the city and the main symbol of democracy in the United States. It was presented by the French to New York as a symbol of friendship between the two peoples. The statue represents the Roman goddess Libertas, who broke the shackles that lie at her feet. In one hand she holds a torch, and in the other a plate with the date of signing the Declaration of Independence. Inside the pedestal of the statue is a museum, and at the base of the crown and on the torch observation decks. You can go up by high-speed elevator or on foot by stairs. From here opens a magical panorama of the New York Bay.
Brooklyn Bridge
This is another attraction of the city, without which it is impossible to imagine New York today. The Brooklyn Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn across the East River. Its construction was completed in 1883. And it became the largest suspension bridge in the world using steel cables. In 1884, in order to dispel the doubts of the inhabitants of the city in the reliability of the bridge, 21 elephants were held over it. The Brooklyn Bridge is best crossed on foot or by bike to enjoy beautiful views of the city and neo-Gothic towers.
Metropolitan Museum of Art

It was presented to the United States and New York in gratitude from the Egyptian government for saving historical monuments during the construction of the Aswan Dam. Today, visitors to the museum can go to the gates of the ancient temple as the Egyptians did thousands of years ago.
Empire State Building
In the first half of the XX century in New York, the struggle for the construction of the tallest skyscraper in the city unfolded. This race was won by the 103-story Empire State Building. The building houses office space. For tourists, two observation decks on the 86th floor and the 102nd floor are of interest. The observation deck on the 86th floor is open until 2:00 am, which allows you to admire the night city. In good weather, a panorama of 120 km around opens from above.
Broadway (Broadway Theatre)
Broadway Theatre is a generic name for a group of theatres that are located in the Broadway Street area. The total number of such theaters today is 41. Their activities in the XX century brought New York the glory of a cultural city. Most of the productions are musicals. World Trade Center Observatory
Construction of the World Trade Center-1 unfolded between 2006 and 2015, the height of the building was 1776 feet (541.3 meters), which symbolizes the date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The observation deck is located on the 102nd floor. Climbing up takes only 47 seconds on a high-speed elevator. But during this time, visitors can see the history of the construction of New York on circular screens mounted in the elevator. The observatory provides a 360° view. Visitors can admire the Hudson, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and other iconic sights of the city.
High Line
The railroad viaduct crossing western Manhattan was abandoned by 1980. Trains on this line no longer ran and the question arose about the dismantling of the rails and the entire structure. However, the authorities of New York decided to break up a green park with a walking area on this place. In 2009, the High Line was opened. Its length is 2.3 km and it is located at an altitude of 10 meters above the ground. In the center of the park there is a concrete path with gravel, and on the sides are planted plants, shrubs, flowers. It offers a beautiful view of the Hudson and the skyscrapers of Manhattan.
